Each homebuilt aircraft is unique so it’s no surprise that the electrical system that supports its operation has to be designed. There are some obvious items that need to be catered for like lights, comms etc other items like wig wag lighting or EFIS screens may not be fitted to all builds.

I have spent several hours designing the electrical system to support my build, deciding on the number of switches, circuits, loading and wire gauge and my working copy of the main system is included below.
